The Words With Friends Dictionary Search allows you to search the official dictionary to confirm that a word is valid for game play.  All you have to do is, enter the word in the form field above and click the Search Button.  By default, the search will return all words that contain the word or string of letters, anywhere – the beginning, the end, or the middle, including an exact match.  If you prefer to only search for the exact word or string, you can do that also.  Just click the turn the “Is exact” option.  When this option is enabled, the search will only return an exact match of the word you entered in the form field.
